Membership of CUES is open to all affiliates of the University, not just those within Engineering. Although we are predominantly an undergraduate society, any member of the University is welcome; undergraduates, postgraduates, staff and faculty members alike. We are a society for anyone with an interest in engineering!

Membership entitles you to free access to our regular presentations (including a free lunch), discounted access to society social events, and some job and placement opportunities that CUES receive directly from industry to name just a few of our offerings. This year we are also looking to introduce a monetary micro-grant scheme and run some larger events including UK based and international trips.

Upon joining you will also receive a goodie bag including the much sort after CUES mug! We offer two levels of membership: Life membership is £15 or you can opt for a single year at a cost of £10.

The easiest way to become a member is at the annual freshers fair, held in week zero of Michealmas term at the Kelsey Kerridge Sports Centre. Again, this is open to all members of the university and we will have a manned stall to process your application on the spot and give you your goodie bag. We will also have a stall in the engineering department foyer during 1st year registration, also in week zero of Michealmas term.
