1. CUES Elections and AGM *** TODAY *** LR4 *** 3pm

You are all invited to the CUES Annual General Meeting.

We particularly encourage those thinking of applying for the committee next year as you will have a chance to see what we do, learn more about the different roles, and have a chat wih existing committee members.

2. CUES Annual Dinner ***BOOK BY SATURDAY***

Join us for this year's Annual Dinner, traditionally the best dining event of the year.

Our black-tie Annual Dinner is being held at the University Arms Hotel, on Regent Street, and will include a lavish three course meal, wine and some entertainment. The event is always well attended and tickets are limited, so make sure you book soon to ensure you get a seat.

As always, many of our key sponsors, from ARM, AECOM, BP, AECOM, Rolls-Royce and Shell, as well as others, will be attending the dinner and are very keen to speak with you about their companies and your career asperations.

House cured salmon, red onion and capers crème friache
Oven dried tomato and olive brushetta with rocket (V)
Carrot and coriander soup (V)

Main
Braised silverside of beef with potato gratin and seasonal vegetables
Roast salmon supreme with fennel sauce, new potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Mushroom risotto with rocket and a Parmesan tuille (v)

Dessert
Glazed Lemon tart with clotted cream and berry compote
Chocolate brownie and hot chocolate sauce with vanilla ice cream

3. IBM - Consultancy session ***TONIGHT***

What if your fresh ideas could make our food tell us it's still fresh?

Come along to our workshop to see what you can achieve!

Do you want an insight into what it's like working for one of the world's largest consultancies? Do you want to develop consulting skills? And gain invaluable careers advice along the way? Our workshop will allow you to do just that - you'll be encouraged to think like a consultant as you attempt to solve business problems in an interactive format, and you'll gain invaluable feedback from our team. The session includes an optional careers guidance section where you can find out about the IBM graduate scheme, the recruitment process and what we look for in our graduate applicants. This is a fun environment where you can learn new skills and network with IBM professionals.

We welcome students from all disciplines who are interested in a career in consulting or technology. Refreshments will be provided.

The events will be hosted by consultants who are keen to discover new talent. They’ve put together a busy three-day schedule. It’s designed to reveal the inspiring world in which they work - and draw out your talents.

4. Ferrari F1 Presentation - Thursday 14th February- 1pm - LR4

The CUES lunchtime presentation by the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 Team will give a technical insight into the fast-paced world of competitive engineering in F1. Learn about the different roles within Ferrari, what working there is like, and how the development process takes the car from the drawing board to the chequered flag. Discover what we’re doing while the car is on track, and how our battle to win continues behind the scenes, even when we’re not racing.Come along to LR4 on Thursday February 14th at 1pm to learn all about the Scuderia Ferrari F1 Team, ask any questions, and find out about exciting opportunities to join our team.
